I’ve been eager to explore more analogue ways of making music lately, away from the laptop screen. A bit more live, a bit less focus on patient microedits. With four pieces of equipment - a Roland TB-03 and a Roland TR-09, a Moog Mother and a Moog DFAM, and a delay pedal - I created this piece in an hour, based on a chance melody I experimented with the day before. I’m very pleased with the result, I have plans to create a series of waltzes using similar methods.
