Live in Islington Park
I was kindly invited to take part in an Ambient Therapy concert in Islington Park (Newcastle, Australia) with three other electro musicians. It was such a lovely afternoon beneath arching trees that filtered dappled sunlight between melodies and subharmonics. Everyone contributed such different flavours of ambient and downtempo.
My set comprised of live Moog (Mother-32 and Subharmonicon) accompanying a mixed setlist of electroacoustic tracks from the past couple of years, including Occasus from my Roughs EP, Susurrus from Summer Shed Blossom, the composition Rh Vx which I wrote for a Maitland Art Gallery event, a live version of I See Flowers, the live version of Untitled 4 originally from Huiev% EP, and Ornphanic from the Telegraph series.
Hopefully we’re able to do more seasonal shows like this across the year. It was well attended and a lot of fun to get outside in nature, listen to the bird song and let bloom some synth-lines.
The album is available on my Bandcamp and on streaming.
